Hey!! I'm a new member today. I was at Newsvine for three years, but it's pretty much devolved into a cesspool of rightwing trash comments chock-full-O'-personal attacks and trolls. You can't even get a decent articler up for a day without it being derailed and mabbed by trolls!

On to the topic here: OWS was no corporate sponsored Astro-turf movement. It is totally spontaneous and a real grassroots movement. I think nthese OWS folks took a cue from the citizens of Wisconsin who are fighting back against movement conservatism and the attack on the American middle class.

They might lose steam, but the puchback against corporate subversion will continue,
